The Senior Men got their Division 1 campaign off to a great start on
Saturday last when they beat St. Molaise Gaels on a final score line
of 0-11 to 0-7. The team play Coolera/Strandhill in the next round of
the league this weekend.

The Division 3 team had a tough challenge against St. Michael's on
Friday night last. The team play Bunninadden this weekend in the Abbot
Cup. The team on duty was Peter Mullholland, Shane Neary, Colm
McVeigh, Niall Durkin, Brian Walsh, Tom Brennan, Padraig McVeigh, Eoin
O'Donnell, Ruairi Brennan, Darren Walsh, Eoin Fleming, Jerome Quinn
and Daniel Broe.

The U-16 boys hurling team take on Coolera/Strandhill in the opening
round of the league this Wednesday in Tourlestrane at 7pm. The U16
boys football team take on Shamrock Gaels on Friday night in round 3
of their campaign. The game is an away tie and starts at 6.30pm.

The Senior Ladies have their first league game on the 14th of April.
The following rounds are on the 21st of April, 5th of May and the 12th
of May. The team are continuing to train hard under Paddy Henry on a
Friday night and Sunday morning and new/returning players are always
welcome. Well done to Tracy, Claire and the rest of the Sligo Ladies
on their league win at the weekend. Good luck to the team this weekend
when they take on Tipperary in a crucial match in their bid for a Semi
final spot.

Once again Barry Walsh, John Carr, Cathal Henry, Kenneth Gavighan,
Oisin Kennedy, Niall Brennan and JP Lang did the club proud when they
represented St. Attracta's CS in the All Ireland of the Senior B
Schools competition. The team overcame St. Michael's of Lurgan 3-10 to
7 points on Saturday last in Derrylin, Co. Fermanagh. Senior player,
Gary Gaughan is also a selector with the team. The club are fully
behind the team and wish them well as they take on Our Lady's
Templemore in the All Ireland Final this Saturday the 6th of April in
Mullingar. Supporters are asked to come out and support our local
young stars.

Congratulations to hurler Jerome Quinn and his wife Simone on the
birth of their baby baby boy, Tristan, recently.

Bon Voyage to Senior player and last years captain, Colin Neary, who
went travelling recently.

Banada Teenage Disco this Friday the 5th of April at 9pm in Banada Hall.
