Well done to our Senior Men's team on beating St. Mary's on a scoreline of 2-7 to 3 points on Saturday evening last. Although the postponed fixture with Ballymote has not yet been played, the team have done enough to secure a place in the league final. The opposition for this fixture will be St. John's on a date yet to be confirmed. Well done to all the players and management on a great league campaign.
Hard luck to the Division 3 men who put up a great fight in round 12 of their league campign against Cloonacool on Friday last. The team lost by the narrowest of margins on a score of 8 points to 7. The team play St. Molaise Gaels on Saturday in Grange at 7.30pm.
Good luck to Adrian McIntyre, Brian Kennedy, Brian Egan and the rest of the Sligo team who take on Derry in the first round of the All Ireland qualifiers on Sunday.
Hard luck to Cathal Henry, Kenneth Gavighan and the rest of the Sligo Minor team and management on Sunday's defeat at the hands of Roscommon.
Well done to Tracey O'Hara, Claire Colleran and the rest of the Sligo Senior Ladies and management on Sunday's win over Leitrim in the Connaght Intermediate Championship. The win has set them up for a final against Roscommon in July.
The next Banada Teenage Disco will take place on Sunday the 30th of June.
The GAA Cúl camp takes place in Tourlestrane from the 1st to the 5th of July. The camp is for children aged 6-13 and caters for Gaelic, Hurling, Camoige and Rounders. Contact senior player, Stephen Henry for more details.
