Our Senior Hurlers kick started their Tain League campaign on Saturday last when they had an away tie with Cluainin Iomaint. Unfortunately the team lost by the minimal on a scoreline of 0-10 to 0-9. The team look forward to welcoming Patrick Quinn, Dublin and Sean Lynch, Rhue, back to the playing field this year.

Preparations for the season ahead are well under-way for our Senior Footballers. They will take to the field on Sunday the 15th of February in their first competitive game of 2015 when they play Tubbercurry in round 1 of the Kiernan Cup. The game is a home game and takes place at 2pm.

Noel Gaughan represented the club on Sunday last in Killmallock, Limerick, when Sligo Senior men played Limerick in round 1 of the Allianz Football League. After a close match, the team lost on a scoreline of 0-14 to 1-9. Best wishes to the team who play Fermanagh in Markievicz Park at 2pm on Sunday.
