Our Senior men recorded another good win when they beat Bunninadden in
Round 6 of the Division 1 league on Saturday last, a scoreline of 2-15
to 6 points. The team have a break this weekend. The Division 4 team
also played Bunninadden at the weekend and ran out winners with a
final scoreline of 2-6 to 1-8. The Division 4 team play St. Marys away
at 7.30 on Saturday evening. Both teams continue to train on Tuesdays
and Thursdays.

The Minor boys team put in a great team performance to overcome
Coolera/Strandhill on Saturday last. The game finished on a scoreline
of 7-13 to 1-6. They play St. Marys away tomorrow night a 7pm.

The U-16 team had  a busy schedule last week, playing
Enniscrone/Kilglass on Monday and Coolaney/Mullinabreena on Tuesday.
They team beat Enniscrone/Kilglass 8-6 to 5-9 but came up short
against Coolaney/Mullinabreena loosing on a final scoreline of 5-9 to

The U-14 boys play Coolaney/Mullinabreena on Friday night at 7pm in

The U-16 hurlers play in round 1 of the league tonight when they take
on Western Gaels in Enniscrone at 7pm. They then take on
Coolera/Strandhill on Bank Holiday Monday at 7pm in round 2 in

The Senior Ladies lost to  Geevagh on Saturday last, they play St.
Nathys this weekend. Training continue on Thursday at 6pm and all
minors are asked to attend.

The club was saddened to learn of the death of Joe Kennedy,
Coolrecuil, last week. Joe was a Patron of our club and a long time
loyal supporter of both football and hurling. The Club extends
sympathy to the Kennedy Family, neighbours and friends of Joe. Ar
dheis Dé go raibh siad.

Best wishes to Brian Kennedy, Brendan Egan and the rest of the Sligo
Senior mens team and management who head to New York this week to play
in the Quarter Final of the Connaught Senior Championship.
