Our Senior Men play Geevagh in round 4 of the Divison 1 league on
Sunday, in Tourlestrane at 2.30.

The Division 4 team started their league campaign with a win in the
first round of the league. With players returning after a break from
football and others from retirement, the team worked hard and ran out
winners on a scoreline of 2.13 to 2.3. The team lined out as follows
Padraig McVeigh, Enda Gallagher, Ciaran Carty, Shane Neary, Sean
Lynch, Dermot Brennan, Declan Marren, Rory Brennan, Colm McVeigh, John
Egan (capt), Eoin O’Donnell, Tom Brennan, Aidan Walsh, Daryn Walsh,
Enda Kelly. Subs used Jerome Quinn, Ciaran Durkin, Cathal Gavaghan,
Aoron Murtagh & John Kelly. The team continue to train on Tuesdays and
Thursdays and play away to Bunninadden in the next round.

Our Senior ladies lost out on the narrowest of margins in the first
round of the league against Eoghan Rua. The girls lead at half time
but the wintery conitions in Castleconnor proved too much and the team
lost out in the end on a score line of 3-8 to 3-7. Although the result
went the wrong way, their was great performances from Jenny Lundy,
Siobhan Carty, Claire Colleran, Anna Corcoran, Niamh Kelly and Katie
Walsh. Laura Neary and Claire McIntyre also marked their return to
football with excellent defending. The team now play Drumcliff/Rosses
Point on Saturday evening in the second round of the Senior League.
The match is at 7pm and a home game for the girls so your support
would be appreciated. Senior ladies train on Tuesday and Thursday at
7pm on the training field.

The minor boys team lost out to Tubbercurry on a scoreline of 1.8 to
3.8. They played Coolaney/Mullinabreena on Tuesday night in an away

The U16 boys team lost to Castleconnor on a score line of 4.10 to 1.6.
They take on Enniscrone/Kilglass in an away tie on Friday at 7pm.

All our underage in the club thinking of spending some time in the
Gaeltacht this summer are asked to look at the website. A link has
been posted in the news feed for a Gaeltacht Scholarship Application

There will be a teenage disco on this Friday night, the 13th of April,
in Banada Hall at 9pm.

Congratulations to Thomas and Geraldine Quinn, Letterbrone on the
birth of their son last week.

The Kellog's GAA Cul Camps will take place in Tourlestrane from the
2nd to the 6th of July. The camp is open to primary school children,
both boys and girls, from 6-13 years of age. Applications will be
avaliable from all primary schools in the coming weeks. Alternatively
you can check out the back of Kellog's cereal boxes for further
information and discounts.
