Club News: 8th of October 2012

This Saturday will be a busy one for the supporters and followers of the club, as the teams of the future take the main stage. Both the U14 and Minor boys teams compete in the "A" championship finals. The U-14s are first to take to the field when they take on Eastern Harps at 12pm in Tubbercurry on Saturday. Having lost to the same opposition in the group stages, the team are out to seek revenge. The Minor boys then take to the field in Connolly Park, Cooloney, when they take on St. Marys at 3pm. Having lost to this team in the earlier stages of the competition, our boys will go in as underdogs but the experience of winning the "B" championship last year should help to push the boys on in the game. The teams and management have put in a lot of effort this year and support for the team would be greatly appreciated.

Hard luck to the Minor boys hurling team who lost the championship final to Coolera/Strandhill on a scoreline of 2-11 to 2-7 on Sunday last in Tourlestrane.
