Well done to our Junior team who recorded their third win on the trot in their Division 4 League campaign. They defeated Drumcliffe- Rosses point at the weekend on a score line of 3-10 to 3-07. This win leaves them sitting proudly on  top of their league table. The team line out was Padraig McVeigh, Shane Neary, Barry Brennan, Michael Meers, Matthew Lang, Barry Kirrane, Sean Quinn, Kenny Gavigan, Darren O'Hara, Rian Kennedy, Shane Dunne, Daniel Clarke, Diarmuid Brennan, Gearoid Brennan, Ruairi Brennan and Brian (Rock) Walsh. Their next match is a home fixture v St Malaoise Gaels.

Well done to the U-15 Futsal team who won the County Community Games final recently. The team now go through to the Connaght finals on July 2nd. Team: Leonie Gaughan, Sarah Cunnie, Tara Walsh, Ellen Bailey, Caoimhe Gilligan, Mary Anne Carr and Ali Walsh.

Well done to our Senior men's team who recorded a 3-12 to 1-12 win over Curry recently. The team are back in action this weekend when they host Eastern Harps at 2pm in Tourlestrane.

Our U-12 girls topped their group in their league campaign and now have home advantage for their semi final which will take place on the 17th of May. Well done to all players, mentors and parents involved. 

Our U-8s and U-10s had a great evening when they hosted Shamrock Gaels last week. There was an abundance of talent on show and the club would like to thank Shamrock Gaels for travelling in numbers.

Our Minor boys had a great win over Calry St Josephs when they travelled to Hazelwood to play in round 4 of the league. The team ran out winners on a scoreline of 7-15 to 3-10 on Friday last.

Congratulations to Sligo Senior Hurlers who recorded a great win over Warwickshire in the Lory Meagher Cup at the weekend, especially to all the Tourlestrane players. The final score was Sligo 3-18 Warwickshire 3-11.

Well done to Katie Walsh, Anna Corcoran, Paddy Henry and all the Sligo Ladies team and managament who recorded a 3-14 to 4-6 win over Leitrim in a crucial round 3 game of the Connacht Intermediate Championship on Sunday last in Tourlestrane, 

Congratulations to former Senior Ladies Captain, Shauna Henry who was part of the London Ladies team who won the Provincial British League.

The club was deeply saddened recently on the news of the untimely passing of Stephen Timlin, Cloonbarry. Stephen was a valued member and player with our Senior Hurler and within the club, playing all over the field. Stephen's passing is a huge loss to the team and club and he will be truly missed. The club would like to offer sincere condolences to his partner Ciara Flynn, father Tommy Snr, brothers James and Tommy Jnr, sisters Tracey and Caroline to all the extended Timlin family, neighbours and friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh siad.

Congratulations to former Senior ladies Captain, Ciara Henry who married Brian Towey, Cloonacool, recently.

Well done to all involved in the Darkness Into Light walk/run which took place in the early hours on Saturday morning in Banada.
