The senior men recorded a good win over St. Molaise Gaels in round 3
of the championship on Saturday evening last. After a slow start the
team pulled together to run out eventual winners on a score of 1-15 to
1-7. The team take on Tubbercurry in the next round of the
championship this Sunday at 7pm in Bunninadden Community Park. The
club asks that supporters get their flags out and come out and show
their support for the team as they strive to win back to back
championship titles.

The junior team overcame a strong Calry/St Josephs team on a score of
2-8 to 6 points in the second leg of the quarter final. The 8point win
secures the team a place in the semi final, having overcome the 7point
aggregate deficit.

The Senior ladies play Geevagh this Sunday in Geevagh at 12 in the
championship. Hard luck to Anna Corcoran and Lilly Wadley who
represent the club and county in last weekends U-16 B All Ireland semi
final. The team lost out to a strong Cavan team in Longford on
Saturday last. Best wishes to Claire Colleran, Tracy O'Hara and the
rest of the Sligo Ladies team this weekend when they take on Cavan in
the final round of the group stage of the Intermediate championship.

The club was saddened to learn of the death of John James Brennan,
Drimina, last week. The Club extends sympathy to the Brennan/ Leonard
family, neighbours and friends of John James. The club would also like
to extend sympathy to the Manley family, Aclare, on the recent passing
of their mother, Mary. Ar dheis Dé go raibh siad.
