The Senior Men qualified directly to the semi final having topped  their group in the initial stages of the championship. The team face  neighbours and rivals Curry in the semi final as Curry over came  Eastern Harps on Saturday evening last at the quarter final stages.  The semi final will take place over the weekend of the 15th/16th of  August. As the team head into two weeks of preparation, show your  support to the team and hang flags out around the parish.

Speedy recovery to Brian Kennedy who sustained an injury in the final round of the group stages against Coolaney/Mullinabreena.

The Junior Mens team put up a brave performance against Shamrock Gaels recently in the semi final of the Junior A championship. The team have
progressed throughout the season, winning the league but unfortunately  they came up just short against Shamrock Gaels losing on a final score  of 12 points to 10.

The Senior hurlers play Western Gaels this Saturday at 6.30pm in Enniscrone in round 5 of the championship.

The Senior ladies bowed out of the senior championship on Sunday last. Having lost to a strong Geevagh team in the first round, they took on a physical Drumcliffe/Rosses Point team in Oxfield on Sunday. Without a number of key players, the team struggled to get going and lost their second game of the group stages. Training for the minor and u16girls continues in preparation for their championship.

The U-9 and U-11 teams enjoyed games against Curry last week and continue to train for their games with St. Mary's in two weeks time.

Congratulations to all the Leaving Certificate student of the club on their results recently and best wishes them as they chose their career paths. Best wishes to all the Junior Certificate students who are receiving their results in the coming weeks.

Bingo continues in Banada Hall on Tuesday nights. Minimum €2000 payout each night.

Anyone wishing to have items included in the notes please email before 7pm on Sunday evenings as the Sligo Champion is now going to be issued on a Tuesday evening.
