The Senior men continue to prepare for round 3 of the senior championship. Their next outing will be against St. Molaise Gaels on the weekend of the 11th/12th of August. Our Junior team lost out to Calry on a score of 2-10 to 9points in the quarter final of the championship . The team take on St. Johns on Friday in round 8 of the competition in Tourlestrane at 8pm. The Senior hurlers lost out to Carly/St Josephs in the semi final of the Dermot Molloy hurling league at the weekend. After a tough battle the team were narrowly defeated 2-4 to 1-10. The team play neigbours Tubbercurry in the 4th round of the championship this Saturday evening in Tourlestrane at 7pm. The Minor boys team had another impressive win in the championship when they beat Shamerock gaels on a scoreline of 2-16 to 3-9. The U-14 boys recorded a one point win over Calry/St. Josephs on Friday last. The game ended 3-5 to 2-7. The Senior ladies play the first round of the championship this Sunday at 12pm when they take on St. Michaels at home. The U-12 girls play St. Pats away on the 17th of August in the first round of their championship. The U-14 girls play Ballymote on the 12th in the first round of their championship. The U-16 girls also take on Ballymote in the first round of their championship on the 8th of August and the Minor girls play St. Michaels on the 23rd of August in the first round of their championship. Congratulations to senior player Barry Kirrane and Tina on the recent birth of their baby girl. Congratulations to senior player Brendan Egan and Lewine O'Connell on their marriage recently.
