Pride of the Parish this week goes to Pat Carty on receiving another Wheelchair Hurling All Star playing with Connacht. Congratulations Pat , you are an inspiration to all club players. Well done to our Senior Men who beat Curry at the pitch on Friday night last and to our Junior men who clocked up a comprehensive win away to Shamrock Gaels this morning.  It was winning times for our u16 girls Tuesday night against Shamrock Gaels as it was for our minor lads against St Farnans on a scoreline that didn’t do justice to St Farnans team and some lovely football was played.

Monday night our u12 boys headed out on a Baltic night to Geevagh and although the panel of 17 mighty lads never gave up they lost out to the home team. Wednesday evening  our u8s and u10s played host at the pitch to Eastern Harps teams. The future looks bright for both parishes and it was so encouraging to see such a great bunch of children for the two clubs strongly supported by a marvellous band of parents siblings grandparents aunties uncles and cousins watch the games.

The u12 girls were beaten Friday night by a stronger CT Gaels team.

Yesterday's Charity Memorial Game at the pitch was a huge success and we have received massive positive response to the event . A big thank you to everyone who turned out to the pitch .. to the 90+players both young and 'mature', to the referrees who are forgiven for their cards !!! To our supporters who kindly gave donations .. to the commentators the camera men and women, to the sponsors of the food and the trusty catering staff and to the senior team lads who organised the day for us all with a special shout out which must be given to Brian Kennedy who had the idea and made it happen . Congratulations to the Gold team who won by a mere 2 point margin !! The green team may take you the next time prepared !!! A mention also must be given to Roseanne Timlin and Ciara Flynn who organised the packed house in Flynn's last night for the Rock Night. Well done to all
The details of the monies raised yesterday are as follows
Charity Game = €2884.64Rock Night = €1367.64  Grand Total = €4252.28
Which shows what a great pride we have in our club and parish for the Mighty Green and Gold of Tourlestrane Gaa. We know our past heroes were smiling down on us watching and enjoying the games too . Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anamnacha
