Our Senior lads had a comprehensive win against Coolaney/Mullinabreena in a rain drenched pitch in Curry with some torrential downpours throughout. Kilcoyne Park was deemed unplayable so the venue was changed after a pitch inspection early in the day. Half time saw the teams at 5 points to 2 in our favour and our lads doubled their scores in the second thirty mins and held the opposition scoreless to leave the result at Tourleestrane 10 points Coolaney Mullinabreena 2 points.

Friday night last saw our minor hurlers clock up a great win v Tubbercurry with the score at the final whistle at 4/13 to 2/8. A speedy recovery is wished to Cian Durkin who sustained a knee injury in the game.

The u14 boys were unlucky in their A1 Football Final in Scardan on Thursday evening and lost out to a stronger Drumcliff/Rosses Point team and our u14 girls were beaten by Eoghan Rua in their game on Tuesday evening also. We hope Lauren Normanly who missed the game Tuesday due to an ankle injury she picked up last weekend makes a full recovery soon.

Our U 14 Hurlers played a well fought close encounter with Tubbercurry on Tuesday night. This game ended in a draw in the final moments of the game when Tubbercurry equalised.

By now you will all be aware of a local upcoming fundraising event with ladies the like who have never been seen outside of a Miss World pageant!!!!Support Bros of Tralee fundraiser and four very worthy charities : Temple Street Children’s Hospital, Hugh’s House, Friends of Sligo University Hospital and the Rotunda Foundation. This is an all ticket event so make sure you get yours in time.

Best of luck to all our club students heading back to college in the coming weeks and also best wishes to all our club Junior Certs receiving their results this week.
