This weeks notes :
The club were saddened this week with the passing of our Patron and former Tourlestrane player Jackie O Hara. Jackie represented Tourlestrane and Sligo before his career was cut short by injury. This however did not dim his enthusiasm for club and county football. Jackie was to be found supporting both the black and white and green and gold in every corner of the country. We extend our sympathies to his devoted wife Ann, and his family Derek Ruth Maree Jacqueline and Eamonn and their extended family. Ar dheis De go raibh a annam dilis.
Our three Semi finals went our way this weekend starting with the Minor Girls yesterday who faced Drumcliff in their replay at the pitch. In a heart-stopping final 10 minutes the girls pulled off a super win and are through to the final next Sunday  at 12 noon v Eastern Harps in Kent Park Sligo. Best of luck to David Enda and the girls
Next up were our Junior A ‘good men’ who travelled to Bunninadden at 5pm to play Cloonacool in their semi final. The lads marched forward to next weeks final when they overcame a strong Cloonacool team. Well done to the Three Wise Men on the management Team and all the lads.
Today, following last weeks pulsating battle with neighbours Tubbercurry  we replayed the SFC semi final at Markievicz Park this afternoon. A great team performance saw Tourlestrane emerge victorious on a scoreline of 1/15 to 8 points which sees us in to the Final against our old rivals Eastern Harps next Sunday. Well done to all and we wish a speedy recovery to Oisin  Kennedy who picked up an injury in the warm up which forced him out of the starting line up.
Our u14 girls played their final championship match of the year on Thursday. They went out of the competition following a tight game against CT Gaels. WE wish them well in their final.
We wish best of luck to the Sligo Gaelic Masters especially our club players Captain David Durkin Fintan Kennedy and Con O Meara in their all Ireland Masters Semi Final in Cavan next Saturday.
