Over the weekend  we learned of the passing of one of our most famous players Aidan Richardson of Rhue following an illness. He was a renound high fielder represented the club and county with distinction and was the captain of the 1968 All Ireland Minor Finalists. To his family in England and Rhue we extend our sympathy on Aidan's passing.
Remains reposing in Coen’s Funeral Home from 3pm. to 6pm. on Saturday with removal to Tourlestrane Church for 7pm.Funeral Mass on Sunday at 12-30pm. with burial in Rhue Cemetery

The Club would also like to extend sympathy to local families who suffered bereavements last week ,The Gavaghan Family in Aclare on the passing of Helen’s mother, and also the Price family on the passing of Amy Price from Caralobaun ar dheis Dé go Raibh a hAnnam Dilis.
As a mark of respect to Aidan and the Richardson family the FBD league game will be played in Tubbercurry this Sunday and the Ladies and Hurlers AGM's have been postponed .
We wish bon voyage to our senior player Stephen leonard who has moved to Canada in the last week while we wish him best of luck we look forward to seeing him back in the green and gold in the future.
