Weekly PRO Notes

We will have the club monthly meeting in the clubhouse on Monday next at 9.30 all members welcome.

We have just launched our new Club Website. It has many new features with up to the minute fixtures and results, club news and a club photo gallery. We are now looking for anyone wishing to contribute 
photos or news or to give us your feedback to email or on our facebook page.

After a very disappointing 1-14 to 1-06 loss against a more eager St Molaises team our senior footballers host St Johns in round 3 of the senior League this Saturday at 6.30.

The Senior Hurlers play Western Gaels on Sunday in the Dermot Molloy League, training on Wednesday and Friday evenings.
The U16 hurlers train before the seniors on Wednesday Evenings.

We held a code of ethics course for all club members on Sunday evening last dealing with Child Protection and we wish to thank all the club coaches who attended and especially Sligo Sport and Recreation and Eamon Mullan who facilitated the course.

The U16 footballers are in Action on Monday next in their first game in the league when we host Eastern Harps at 6.30. The match against Ballisodare was postponed. Training continues on Sunday mornings.

The U12 girls are in Banada Hall on Thursday evenings at 6 while the U14 and U16 Girls are out on the pitch now every Monday at 6pm.

U8/U10 Footballers coaching has moved outdoors now and they train every Saturday morning at 10.30 in the main pitch.

Ladies minor and senior training continues on Sunday mornings also and we are hopeful of arranging a  Senior challenge match for this Saturday night after the Mens Senior League game, check the website 

Bingo continues on Tuesday nights with the Jackpot and ever popular snowball game attracting plenty of interest. We are looking for 2 more volunteers to help out with Bingo and join in the teams who are on for two weeks and then off for four. Full training is provided! So contact David McVeigh or Michael Collins.

The club extends sympathy to the Dillon Family, Knocknarea and the Keavney Family Dromard on their recent bereavements
